Write a letter to the editor
Tips for Getting your Letter to the Editor Published:
- Be aware of the word count allowance and try not to go over it. Usually the word cap is around 150-200 words
- Take the time to look into who the editor is and send it directly to their email with a personalized greeting such as: "Dear (insert editors name here), please accept this letter in response to the article that (reference article here)"
- Don't try to cover too many angles at a time. Simple is better, you only have 150 words to work with, stick with one talking point at a time.
