The Oregon Health Authority includes most of the state’s health programs, including the Public Health Division. The Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention (HPCDP) section is part of the Public Health Division.
We work in communities and with organizations across the state to create a healthy, smokefree environment for everyone.
Within HPCDP, Oregon’s Tobacco Prevention and Education Program (TPEP) funds local tobacco prevention programs to engage Oregonians in every county and tribe. They counter tobacco marketing where it matters the most — in the places where people work, play, learn and live.
